POSITION OVERVIEW
This Mechatronics Engineer role sits within the Engineering department and reports directly to the Project Engineering Lead. The incumbent will solve critical client business problems related to in-lab data collection bottlenecks by building, installing, and maintaining hardware systems like EMG devices to ensure project execution efficiency.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute CAD and hardware design for ongoing laboratory projects ensuring precise specifications.
- Oversee electronics, sensors, and data sampling operations including construction, installation, and maintenance of EMG devices.
- Perform light data analysis and execute Python coding scripts to support experimental evaluations.
- Drive independent problem-solving initiatives and apply robust troubleshooting techniques for debugging and testing hardware.
- Collaborate proactively across multiple teams to ensure seamless in-lab technical support and cooperation.
