Job DescriptionIn this role you will be exposed to a range of engineering projects with geotechnical challenges to solve and meet client objectives. The ideal candidate understands commitment, contribution, development, and communication.
What you will do:
Provide expert engineering advice and recommendations for construction projects.
Perform geotechnical studies, field tests, analysis, and design.
Prepare and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
Organize and direct geotechnical site assessmentDetermine and obtain necessary compliance permitsOversee and manage daily schedule for drilling crew and subcontractorsCommunicate professionally with clients and subcontractorsManage and approve subcontractor invoices and expenditures
Minimum of 8 years of experiencePossess up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Expertise in CAD (computer-aided design) softwareMicrosoft Office Suite proficientStrong critical-thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent time-management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
Comfortable working in the fieldStrong teamwork skillsPreferred qualificationsProfessional Engineering (PE) licensure.
Excellent knowledge of local soil and rock propertiesExperience working out in the field.
Advanced data collection and recording techniques.

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or another related engineering field.Minimum of 8 years of experiencePossess up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
