MT, PT, ET

Level 2 role is a full-time, on-site position based in Santa Clarita, CA. This role is responsible for performing Level 2 non-destructive testing using Magnetic Particle (MT), Penetrant (PT), and Eddy Current (ET) methods on landing gear and related aerospace components, following applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and calibrating NDT equipment, conducting inspections, interpreting and evaluating indications, and accurately documenting test results for quality and traceability. The technician collaborates closely with quality, engineering, and production teams to support overhaul and repair processes, identify potential defects or corrosion, and ensure components meet safety and reliability requirements. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols, and participating in continuous improvement and training activities. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency with NDT Magnetic Particle (MT), Penetrant (PT), and Eddy Current (ET) methods for aerospace or similar industrial applications. Strong skills in Inspection and Quality Control, including interpreting test results and following written procedures and standards. Experience identifying and assessing Corrosion and other defects on metal components used in aviation or heavy mechanical systems. Current or recent Level 2 certification in MT, PT, and ET (ASNT or equivalent) with the ability to read and understand NDT procedures and specifications. Familiarity with aviation maintenance, overhaul environments, or similar precision manufacturing settings. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and industry standards; strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Commitment to safety practices, proper handling of chemicals and equipment, and adherence to regulatory and customer requirements. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or NDT coursework in aerospace is beneficial. <
