$25-$35/yr Posted 03/2026 Job Description Overview $25-$35/yr Job Summary S.E.A.L. Aviation is an FAA Repair Station 9JBR401B. We have an immediate opening for an inspector who has a minimum of 3 years aviation experience, Airframe license preferred but not required, must be familiar with nomenclature of an aircraft. Candidate must be able to produce past documented Minimum certification of Level II PT, MT, ET, UT and
RT IAW NAS
410 or
SNT-TC-1A.
We are looking for a permanent full-time employee join and grow within our organization, also open to qualified contractors. Salary is negotiable depending on proven certification and experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs major management roles include but are not limited to customer relations, scheduling. Must be available to answer incoming business-related calls on company issued phone during and after hours as well as weekends. Available to travel and work after hours and weekends to meet business needs. Makes ensure all equipment is calibrated. Confirms that all NDT supplies X-ray film, processing chemicals and envelopes are stocked. Ensures that standards are stored correctly. Follows up on work orders to ensure processing and billing within 48 hours. Ensures NDT manual is approved by FAA and current to industry standards. Performs, leads and educates within a team working environment. Conducts inspections upholding manufacturer requirements to customer and/or company specifications while emphasizing on safety and quality assurance in a timely matter. Must proactively be working towards attaining or already have Level III status on all methods the company offers. Minimum of Level II on at least 4 of 5 methods. Monitors and maintains NDT personnel examinations and certifications. Maintains NDT personnel training and OJT records. Conducts NDT department & equipment Audits. Provides personnel with technical assistance when needed. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises NDT employees within the NDT department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Requirements Minimum of Level II in PT, MT, ET, UT and
RT. MUST HAVE
Minimum 3 year's aviation NDT experience. Valid driver's license and US Passport (or eligible) required. Microsoft Office proficient, able to work with and without supervision as required. Candidate must also hold a valid driver's license and able to obtain a US Passport, S.E.A.L. Aviation is an international company, some domestic and international travel will be required.
