AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Dynasty Fab LLC Dynasty Fab LLC is seeking an experienced AWS Certified Welding Inspector to support our fabrication and quality operations. We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality, communicates clearly, and works closely with the shop floor to ensure customer requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of welded fabrications. Verify compliance with drawings, welding procedures, applicable codes, defense and aerospace standards, and customer specifications. Confirm welder qualifications and adherence to approved WPS requirements. Inspect weld quality, fit-up, dimensions, and material identification and traceability. Document inspection results, identify nonconformances, and verify repairs. Coordinate required nondestructive testing and review supporting reports. Work with fabrication, project management, and quality personnel to resolve issues and maintain schedules.

Qualifications:

Current AWS CWI certification required. Experience inspecting structural steel and fabricated weldments. Ability to read fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and customer specifications. Working knowledge of AWS D1.1 and additional welding codes required. Experience interpreting and applying defense and aerospace welding and inspection requirements, including applicable military specifications, AWS D17.1, and customer-specific standards. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Ability to make sound inspection decisions and communicate requirements professionally.

Preferred Experience:

Government, defense, or aerospace fabrication. ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems. Nondestructive testing and dimensional inspection. Pay based on experience and qualifications.
