This role is responsible for performing fluorescent penetrant inspections (FPI) in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality, safety, and accuracy in inspection processes. Position will train to become Level II inspector and will train under the supervision of Level III.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare parts for inspection, including cleaning and surface preparation Apply penetrant, developer, and interpret indications under UV light Ensure compliance with
NAS 410, ASTM
E1417, and/or other applicable standards Maintain equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and UV equipment
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
