NDT Technician (PT/RT) 2nd Shift RocketForce Technologies LLC Redmond, WA Job Details Full-time $85,000 - $100,000 a year 7 hours ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Computer operation X-ray inspection as testing technique Blueprint specification interpretation Penetrant testing technique Personal protective equipment (PPE) use Word embeddings Liquid penetrant kits High school diploma or GED Safety equipment Productivity software NDT Level II Cross-functional communication Full Job Description We are seeking a Level 2 Non-Destructive Test Technician with experience in Radiographic Testing (RT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) to join our team. In this role, you will perform inspections on parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering, customer, and quality requirements. Essential Functions Perform Level 2 NDT inspections using RT and PT methods Interpret and evaluate inspection results to applicable standards and acceptance criteria Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment Prepare and process parts for inspection Document inspection results and maintain accurate records Identify and report nonconforming material or product conditions Follow all applicable safety requirements, including radiation safety and chemical handling procedures Support production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve inspection-related issues Assist with training or guiding Level 1 technicians as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Qualified and able to pass Level II Examinations in RT, PT, (NAS410 Certification Desired). Must be knowledgeable with GTAW, GMAW, and EBW welding processes used in an aerospace environment. Must have a thorough knowledge of theory, methods and procedures for qualifying NDT disciplines. Minimum 2 years of NDT experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and written procedures Working knowledge of applicable NDT standards and acceptance criteria Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PPT Good communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments Familiarity with
NAS 410 , ASNT
, or related industry standards Experience with digital, computed Tomography, or computed radiography Additional NDT certifications are a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 lbs. Ability to work in a manufacturing or inspection environment Visual acuity and color differentiation as required for inspection work Ability to wear required PPE and safety monitoring devices Work Environment This position works in a manufacturing and inspection environment and may involve exposure to industrial equipment, penetrant materials, and radiographic inspection areas. Strict adherence to safety procedures is required. 4/10 - Second Shift
