This role is responsible for developing test procedures, executing optical and imaging tests, analyzing performance data, automating test processes, and working cross-functionally to resolve system issues before products move into production Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Experience with camera systems, imaging systems, optical assemblies, or electro-optical products

Knowledge of:

• Geometric Optics
• Physical Optics
• Photonics
• Imaging Systems
• Experience characterizing image quality and optical performance
• Test development, execution, and data analysis experience
• Scripting/programming in Python, C#, or similar
• Strong troubleshooting/debug skills
• Experience working in a lab environment with hardware and test equipment
• Ability to work onsite in North Reading, MA 4 days/week
• Camera validation or image quality testing experience
• Experience with spectrometers, oscilloscopes, cameras, or optical test equipment
• Test automation experience
• Statistical analysis, repeatability, or measurement uncertainty experience
• Manufacturing test, design verification, NPI, or validation experience
• Hardware/software integration experience
