Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with a preferred background in the low-voltage industry. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge with strong sales and business development skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop new business and generate sales opportunities. Build relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, engineers, property managers and commercial clients. Review drawings, specifications. Recommend technical solutions and assist with proposals and system design. Attend client meetings, site visits, and project discussions. Maintain the sales pipeline and follow opportunities through contract award. Coordinate with estimating, engineering, and project management teams.

Qualifications:

Experience in low-voltage systems and technical sales/business development. Knowledge of structured cabling, fiber, access control, CCTV/security, AV, networking, or building automation, smart home systems. Ability to read construction drawings and specifications. Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills. Experience working with general contractors and commercial construction projects preferred. We are looking for a proactive, organized, and results-driven professional who can develop new relationships and grow business.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
