3001585420-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Constellation Energy seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems supporting power generation and energy delivery. You will develop and review mechanical designs, perform thermal and stress analyses, and ensure compliance with ASME and industry standards. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of assets, support root-cause investigations, and guide implementation of upgrades. In our collaborative, innovation-driven culture, you'll mentor junior engineers and contribute to impactful, environmentally focused energy projects. Responsibilities Lead mechanical design and analysis for power generation and energy systems Develop and review mechanical drawings, specifications, and calculations Perform thermal, fluid, and stress analyses to optimize performance and reliability Ensure designs meet ASME and other applicable industry codes and standards Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment issues Identify and implement system upgrades to improve efficiency and sustainability Collaborate with cross-functional teams across projects and sites Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination with contractors and vendors Required Skills Mechanical system design Thermal/fluid analysis HVAC and piping design Finite Element Analysis (FEA) CAD/3 D modeling (e.g., Solid Works, Auto CAD) Power plant/utility systems Project management Reliability and root cause analysis Industry codes and standards (ASME, API) Data analysis and performance optimization
