Job Description
Constellation Energy seeks a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to support reliable, efficient utility and energy operations. In this role, you will design, analyze, and improve mechanical or electrical systems for generation, distribution, and related infrastructure. Responsibilities include equipment specification, system modeling, performance testing, and root-cause analysis of issues. You will support capital projects, ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Design and analyze mechanical or electrical systems for utility and energy projects Develop equipment specifications and system models to meet performance targets Conduct performance testing, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis of failures Support capital projects from concept through commissioning Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards and codes Collaborate with operations, project management, and other engineering teams Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and reports Identify and implement reliability and efficiency improvements Support integration of renewable and sustainable energy technologies Provide engineering support for field issues and maintenance activities Required Skills Mechanical design Electrical power systems CAD software (e.g., Auto CAD, Solid Works) Engineering analysis and modeling Root-cause failure analysis Power generation and distribution systems Project engineering and coordination Technical documentation and reporting Knowledge of industry codes and standards (IEEE, NEC, ASME) Data analysis and performance testing
