Job Description

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing and industrial automation company , is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer , you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Automation, Controls, and Manufacturing Operations Teams . The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments , which will align successfully in the organization.

$45 - $50 H/r What's the Job? Design, program, and troubleshoot Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC-based control systems. Develop, maintain, and support SCADA applications, with a preference for Ignition SCADA. Implement automation solutions following GM GCCS and FACS controls standards. Configure and support Beckhoff automation systems and EtherCAT networks. Support commissioning, controls migrations, troubleshooting, and system optimization activities. What's Needed? Strong hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000. Experience working within GM Controls Standards (GCCS/FACS). Knowledge of Ignition SCADA development, configuration, and support. Experience with Beckhoff controls and EtherCAT communications.
