As a High Voltage Test Engineer, you will provide technical leadership for high voltage laboratory testing, oversee electrical cable testing, develop test procedures and reports, and support the reliability, accuracy, and continuous improvement of laboratory testing processes. This is a direct-hire opportunity. Benefits Package 401(k) Life insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Short-term disability Long-term disability Paid vacation Paid holidays Opportunity for advancement Flexible spending account Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university At least 3 years of experience in electrical testing within a manufacturing environment Preferred Education and Experience High voltage systems experience preferred General Requirements Demonstrate a strong understanding and application of relevant standards, including familiarity with standardization organizations and regulatory bodies related to high voltage cables and accessories Maintain a commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices Be fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills Prioritize effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment Demonstrate teamwork and leadership abilities, with strong persuasion and analytical synthesis skills Demonstrate excellent facilitation and presentation capabilities Be detail-oriented, disciplined, and highly motivated Maintain an organized, structured, and systematic approach to problem solving Work comfortably in multicultural environments while coordinating multiple testing activities with various stakeholders Operate effectively within a matrix organization Maintain a results-driven approach with a strong commitment to continuous improvement Work independently and remain self-motivated in operational tasks Maintain a customer-focused mindset dedicated to delivering high satisfaction Travel globally to customer locations, conferences, and other client facilities as needed Essential Functions Ensure all cables undergo electrical testing during production and again before delivery to the client Guarantee every cable is electrically tested during manufacturing and prior to handover to the customer Prepare and issue detailed test plans and final test reports for customer orders and development projects Perform electrical cable testing, including impulse testing, HVAC testing, HVDC testing, PD testing, capacitance testing, loss factor testing, and DC jacket testing Perform additional selected mechanical and physical evaluations on cable samples or raw materials MAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
