Job Description

As a Test Development Intern, you will assist Test Development Engineers in the design, development, documentation, and testing of fixtures and processes used to test electronic products produced for Enercon and its customers.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM In the role of
Test Development Engineering Intern:
Assist in assembling and modifying electrical and electromechanical test fixtures under the direction of Test Development Engineers. Assist in developing basic test fixture circuitry, wiring, and software or scripts as part of the test development team. Assist in troubleshooting test fixtures, test equipment, and electronic assemblies under the direction of Test Development Engineers. Assist in creating test protocols, test instructions, and summary reports to Enercon's standards. Support the development and documentation of test methods used for product verification and production testing. Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing test data to support engineering and manufacturing activities. Support design verification, product characterization, and manufacturing test activities as directed. Perform other engineering tasks as directed by management, design engineers, and test development engineers. The skills you need to succeed: You do not need experience in product development. Hands-on practical problem solving and test experience. Possess good interpersonal skills and work in a team environment. Motivated with a strong initiative to seek opportunities to contribute and learn. Strong organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Education & experience of a successful candidate: Declared engineering major with a minimum of 2 years completed course work.
