Monday-Friday, Onsite 5 Days per Week Ready to work on complex automotive mechanical systems that impact vehicle performance, safety, and quality? We are seeking a Product Engineer to support the design, development, testing, validation, and release of vehicle closure systems and mechanical components. Job DutiesLead design and development of mechanical systems including handles, latches, locks, hinges, strikers, and closure mechanismsManage product releases, engineering changes, CAD models, BOM structures, and design documentationCollaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and program managementPerform engineering analysis, GD&T reviews, tolerance studies, and technical design evaluationsSupport DFMEA, DVP&R, root cause analysis, 8D problem solving, and validation activitiesReview and approve CAD data through Teamcenter and related PLM systemsSupport supplier readiness, PPAP activities, production launches, and ongoing quality improvementsTravel occasionally to supplier, testing, and manufacturing facilities RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field2+ years of engineering experience in automotive, heavy equipment, aerospace, industrial mechanisms, or similar industriesExperience with CAD software such as CATIA, 3DX, or TeamcenterKnowledge of GD&T, product development, engineering change management, and validation processesStrong problem-solving, communication, and project management skillsAbility to travel domestically and internationally as needed BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and pet insurance401(k) Retirement Savings PlanEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Commuter/Parking AccountsPeople PerksHealth Savings Account (HSA)AD&D Insurance This is an excellent opportunity for engineers looking to gain hands-on experience supporting advanced mechanical product development and vehicle launch activities in a fast-paced environment.
