RF Antenna Cosite to join the team of qualified individuals in our Avionics and Subsystems Organization .
This role is located onsite in Melbourne, FL . In this role you will be supporting the overall development and integration of RF Subsystems, including analyzing performance, developing and managing requirements and interfaces, and verifying/validating all allocated requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support development and integration of communications and other RF subsystems and components to meet platform mission objectives
Requirements development, analysis, maturation and implementation translating customer requirements into derived specifications
Perform Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) antenna analysis for source/victim (co-site) analysis
Conducting detailed trade studies
Performing risk analysis and developing mitigation plans and tracking to closure
Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders
Developing and maintaining supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work
Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration and test support
Review documents from the supplier's development effort and support supplier technical interchange meetings and design reviews
Identifying/planning/executing informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements in lab, troubleshooting hardware in the lab
Performing aircraft ground and flight test on subsystems to validate and verify subsystem requirement and sell-off
Support technical discussions with the customer and having daily interaction with management, external personnel, customers, and various sub teams Basic Qualifications
:•Must have a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a (STEM) discipline AND 10 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.
D. (STEM) discipline AND
8• years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
Must have knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands)
Must have the ability to design, select and characterize RF components to meet mission objectives
Must have experience in Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) antenna analysis for source/victim (co-site) analysis
Must have designing, integrating, testing, installing, operating LOS and BLOS communication systems in airborne military applications
Must have experience with voice, military and network waveforms
Must have experience with cryptographic implementations
Must have experience with RF antenna and component design and performance analysis
Must have demonstrated problem-solving ability and data analysis experience
Must have knowledge of system engineering design methods, including requirements analysis and flow-down, specification derivation and interface control documentation
Must have an active US Government Clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have an Interim US Government Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain US Government Top Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance
Experience engaging directly with internal and external technical and programmatic representatives
Ability to assimilate new concepts quickly and independently and work in a self-directed manner
Experience in model-based systems engineering using Cameo or similar SysML tools
Experience in performance analysis using MATLAB and Excel or similar tools
Familiarity with Atlassian collaboration tool set (Jira and Confluence)
Experience in supplier/subcontract management
Experience with developing supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work
Experience building supplier evaluation criteria and experience in conducting technical evaluations, documenting results and selection
Ability to review documents from the supplier's development effort and support supplier technical interchange meetings and design review
Primary Level Salary Range:
$152,900.00
$229,300.
00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
