Job Description

• Conduct detailed RF subsystem and system design studies, testing plans, and analysis of requirements into detailed performance design criteria in conjunction with the technical lead and direct sponsor engagement
• Design and build templates to assist SMEs in providing critical system information
• Conduct product or system design synthesis translating requirements into physical architectures for RF subsystems and systems of moderate complexity
• Analyze RF subsystem and system functionality as defined by requirements
• Define/refine internal and external interfaces for RF subsystems and systems
• Develop technical reports and diagrams detailing design description or performance as defined by requirements Skills and Requirements - Bachelors in STEM and 5 years of experience OR Masters and 3 years of experience MINIMUM
• Experience developing, integrating, and testing RF hardware designs and physical RF interfaces
• Experience designing front end RF systems, including but not limited to LNAs, filters, RF power amplifiers, LOs, and mixers
• Experience using and designing RF up-converters and down-converters
• Experience with RF test equipment including Spectrum and Network Analyzers
• Experience with RF Systems Engineering
• Understanding of radar and electronic warfare principles
• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience with military RF systems/subsystems
• Experience working with RF systems that have operational frequencies up to at least 20 GHz
• Experience with modeling and simulation of EW, Radar, or EW systems
