Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a RF/Product engineering sitting in McLean, VA. In this role, you will contribute to partner engagement across User Equipment (UE) development and certification, while gradually building ownership within assigned product areas. You will work closely with partners, senior engineers, and cross-functional teams to support development, integration, and certification activities. This role is a balance between hands-on technical support and growing ownership. It is ideal for an engineer who is eager to learn, take on increasing responsibility, and contribute to solving technical challenges while being guided by more experienced engineers.
What You'll Do:
  •  Support partner onboarding and respond to technical questions from partners and internal teams
  •  Assist in UE design, development, integration, and certification activities
  •  Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of certification documentation and test procedures
  •  Execute test activities and support analysis of results with guidance from senior engineers
  •  Troubleshoot basic system integration and technical issues, escalating when needed
  •  Collaborate with internal teams to support issue resolution and product improvements
  •  Assist in the development of test tools, scripts, and basic automation
  •  Support RF and system-level testing activities in lab environments
  •  Prepare and update technical documentation and training materials
  •  Follow established processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  •  Build relationships with partners and internal stakeholders through day-to-day support
  •  Prepare, update, and deliver professional training materials to Iridium partners
  •  Troubleshoot partner designs and systems, including software/hardware integration and interactions between them
  •  Prepare, update, and maintain high-quality technical documentation such as application notes
Compensation:
$45-55/HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.   •  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  •  3+ years of relevant engineering experience
  •  Basic knowledge of RF concepts and lab equipment
  •  Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments
  •  Strong communication and teamwork skills
  •  Analytical thinking and willingness to learn
  •  Ability to manage assigned tasks and seek guidance when needed
  •  Experience with system integration or troubleshooting is a plus
  •  Basic scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., Python) is a plus
  •  Exposure to satellite communications or IoT
  •  Familiarity with QA/test tools (e.g., Jira, Git)
  •  Interest in RF testing and certification processes
