Job Description

Arencibia is the leading provider of gas monitoring, analytics and recovery solutions. We help the world's largest manufacturers in metals, aerospace, automotive, semiconductors and other industries transform the economics, reliability and predictability of their gas supply chain while delivering tremendous environmental benefits. We own and operate industrial gas recovery systems and our proprietary Monitoring, Analytics and Recovery Service to reduce gas supply costs, increase predictability, and provide unprecedented insight into manufacturing operations. Arencibia's operating and maintenance function is based in Quakertown, PA. As an Operations Field Engineer, you will support the operations of our industrial gas recovery plants making process adjustments to optimize operations to peak efficiency. You will be responsible to troubleshoot mechanical, process, and controls issues affecting operations and overall efficiency, making recommendations and implementing process and controls changes to improve operations. The individual should have proven experience in the following areas: industrial gas supply, process controls, mechanical piping design, valves and instrumentation, pumps and compressors.
Responsibilities include:
Support installation and commissioning of Gas Recovery systems Trouble shoot and perform root cause analysis of system upsets Implement process improvements to improve production efficiency and quality. Produce and update standard operating procedures Proactively identify and resolve process issues to ensure safe and efficient operation Assist in identifying required maintenance tasks Develop and follow plant procedures to deal with the equipment upsets, shutdowns, and restarts. Report any plant defects and observations that may affect the operation of the plant. Assist Maintenance Technicians with on-site activities and outage preparation. Provide cost-effective solutions to optimize operations. Analyze and diagnose production problems in a timely manner.
Strong candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in a related field 1+ years of experience with process plants, industrial gas and cryogenic experience a plus Experience with electrical systems such as 24V/120V/480V Experience with system controls Experience with process equipment such as valves, pumps, transmitters, flowmeters, and/or analyzers Experience working with P&ID's and process instrumentation Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional and demanding environment Detail oriented and strong problem solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Must be willing to accommodate off-shift/weekend responsibilities based on business needs Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word required
