Fully Onsite Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00

PM Pay Rate:

$40.00 - $46.00 hourly range, commensurate with experience Job Description & Responsibilities Insight Global is hiring a Project Engineer for a local utilities client to do the following: Support the design, operation, and maintenance of pipelines and natural gas facilities. Review engineering plans, technical studies, permits, and change orders for new or updated projects. Conduct field investigations and inspections to ensure projects meet codes, specifications, and regulations. Update and maintain engineering plans, manuals, forms, compliance records, and other documentation. Evaluate project specifications and identify conflicts; make necessary field adjustments after inspections. Maintain project logs, records, permits, and technical documents; enter data into specialized systems and databases. Prepare and review reports, permit applications, inspection documents, and engineering records. Meet with project coordinators, consultants, and engineering teams to review documents, resolve issues, and support project decisions. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 3+ years of civil or utilities engineering experience Previous experience in underground utility project design - water, sewer, gas, etc. AutoCAD/Civil3D proficiency Preferred Previous experience in municipal settings is a plus
