Job Description

Header Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Robotics Engineer to join our cutting-edge manufacturing team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing, implementing, and maintaining advanced robotic systems that enhance production efficiency and quality. Your expertise will drive automation projects, troubleshoot complex industrial controls, and optimize robotic operations to meet high standards of safety, reliability, and performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate engineer eager to shape the future of industrial automation and robotics technology. Responsibilities Design, program, and commission industrial robotic systems, with a focus on Fanuc robots and other leading robotic platforms. Develop and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, including ladder logic (LD) programming, to ensure seamless automation workflows. Configure human-machine interface (HMI) systems for operator control panels, ensuring intuitive operation and real-time monitoring of robotic processes. Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and controls, interpreting electrical schematics accurately to diagnose issues swiftly. Integrate robotics with industrial networks such as distributed control systems (DCS) for synchronized operation across manufacturing lines. Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures or process deviations to implement effective corrective actions. Collaborate with mechanical engineers using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to develop tooling, fixtures, or custom robotic components that meet manufacturing specifications. Perform system validation using vision inspection systems and ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards where applicable. Lead continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles to optimize robotic workflows and reduce waste. Document all engineering activities thoroughly, including schematics reading, troubleshooting procedures, and system modifications. Skills Extensive experience with Fanuc robotics and other industrial robotic systems. Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic (LD), function block diagram (FBD), or structured text (ST). Strong understanding of industrial controls, electrical schematic reading, and interpretation skills. Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motor drives, sensors, actuators, and safety devices. Skilled in configuring human-machine interface (HMI) systems for operational control and data visualization. Familiarity with industrial networks like Ethernet/IP, Profibus, or Modbus for system integration. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling design, machining processes, and blueprint reading for manufacturing applications. Experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on robotics or automation projects. Ability to troubleshoot complex industrial equipment issues efficiently using root cause analysis techniques. Competence in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for designing mechanical components or system layouts. Knowledge of vision inspection systems for quality assurance in automated environments. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams while maintaining safety standards. This role offers an energetic environment where innovation meets precision engineering! If you're driven by problem-solving challenges in robotics engineering—combining mechanical aptitude with electrical expertise—this is your chance to make a significant impact in the world of industrial automation!
