Job Description

About the Role As a Robotics Systems Support Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical lead for our automated material handling environments, ensuring peak system performance and reliability. You will leverage your expertise in PLC programming and electromechanical troubleshooting to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve complex operational challenges in high-speed production settings. Responsibilities Oversee the real-time health and operational status of automated robotic vehicles, vertical lifts, and conveyor systems. Diagnose and resolve advanced electromechanical and software-related system faults to minimize downtime. Translate complex technical data into actionable insights for cross-functional site teams and stakeholders. Document root cause analysis findings to facilitate long-term engineering improvements and system optimization. Provide technical mentorship and training to site operators on warehouse management systems and automation hardware. Collaborate with internal engineering groups to execute performance-driven upgrades and standardization projects. Maintain a rigorous safety culture by strictly adhering to LOTO, fall protection, and OSHA-compliant operational protocols. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting complex automated systems. Proficiency in PLC platforms such as Allen Bradley or Siemens and familiarity with industrial robotics (e.g., ABB). Technical competency in SQL, Linux, and Python for system diagnostics and data analysis. Ability to perform physical tasks in industrial environments, including working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs. Preferred Skills Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in a high-pressure production environment. Strong interpersonal skills with experience managing client-facing technical relationships. Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing operational priorities and site-specific requirements. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various customer locations as needed.
