Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer -
Robotic Welding Location:
Alexandria or Sauk Centre, MN — 100% onsite
Salary:
$100,000-$115,000 DOE Kilnstone Talent Solutions is recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing client seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with strong robotic welding experience. This role focuses on robotic weld programming, process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Program and optimize ABB or FANUC robotic welding systems Develop and optimize weld parameters including voltage, amperage, travel speed, wire feed speed, and shielding gas Troubleshoot robotic welding issues such as porosity, distortion, spatter, lack of fusion, and fit-up Improve manufacturing processes, cycle times, weld quality, and production efficiency Support weld sequencing, fixtures, process documentation, and new equipment/automation projects Perform root-cause analysis and continuous-improvement work Partner with production, quality, engineering, and operations teams Create work instructions and support production training What We're Looking For Approximately 3-7 years of manufacturing engineering, process engineering, welding engineering, or related experience preferred Hands-on
ABB OR FANUC
robotic welding programming Robotic welding/process-development experience Manufacturing or metal-fabrication background Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills Ability to read engineering drawings, weld symbols, and GD&T Degree preferred, but not required — relevant hands-on experience is more important Nice to Have RoboGuide, RobotStudio, MotoSim SolidWorks or AutoCAD Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma AWS welding standards PFMEA / Control Plans Sheet metal, heavy fabrication, OEM, or contract-manufacturing experience Schedule Monday-Friday, days Minimal overtime Minimal travel No regular on-call requirement Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Short-term disability Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) with employer match Profit sharing Tuition reimbursement Career development opportunities Annual company-performance bonus Candidates must be able to work onsite in either Alexandria or Sauk Centre, Minnesota . Pay:
$100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
