System/Software Technician California, Oakland 09/08/2026 Contract Active

ob Summary

The System/Software Technician supports robotics solutions by performing bring-up, calibration, testing, and logging of advanced technologies. This role is part of the End of Line Team, working at a closed course test track in Oakland. The technician collaborates with hardware, product, and software teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable deployment of autonomous technologies.

Shift:

Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime. Rotating shifts may be required with two weeks' notice. Must be comfortable riding an electric bike. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders across hardware, product, and software teams to improve robotics solutions.

Execute and document tests to verify autonomous technologies, including behavior, product capabilities, and requirements.

Follow testing programs and checklists rigorously to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability.

Communicate with cross-functional teams to assess robot behavior and triage issues.

Support field operations for deployment of autonomous products.

Utilize ticketing tools to collect feedback, schedule fixes, and track progress. Required Qualifications

2 years of experience or strong interest in robotics, automotive, or computer systems.

Familiarity with automotive and/or computer systems.

Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and communication skills.

Comfortable working outdoors in varied conditions.

Organizational and process skills with ability to follow detailed test plans.

Familiarity with ticketing tools for issue tracking and resolution. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in live field operations, especially related to autonomous vehicles.

Enthusiasm for robotics and advanced technology deployment.
