By mid-day you're collaborating with engineers to refine a new automation sequence, documenting adjustments as you go. An unexpected alarm in the afternoon? You diagnose it quickly, swap a component, and bring the system back online. Before you wrap, you coach a teammate on a programming nuance and note insights to inform the next upgrade. What You'll Tackle Install, commission, and sustain robotic systems and auxiliary equipment for reliable uptime. Execute inspections and preventive maintenance to keep performance at its peak. Partner with engineers and technicians to optimize robotic processes and cycle times. Accurately document maintenance, repairs, parameter changes, and parts usage. Assist in developing and rolling out new robotic technologies and improvements. Provide hands-on support and training for colleagues on safe, effective robot operation. Track industry trends to inform smarter troubleshooting and enhancements. What You Bring High school diploma or GED. Demonstrated experience as a Robotics Technician or closely related role. Solid grasp of robotics, programming, and control systems. Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting know-how. Sharp problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail. Comfort working independently and within cross-functional teams. Clear verbal and written communication. Technical Proficiency Machine building and assembly experience. Schedule & Location On-site in Auburn Hills, MI.
