Job Description

POSITION TITLE
ROBOTICS
LOADER/UNLOADER POSITION DEPARTMENT

POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Load and unload sheet metal parts used with robotic press brake equipment while accurately scanning materials and confirming part numbers and quantities. Monitor equipment operation, report alarms or irregular conditions, and maintain a clean and organized work area. This is a first-shift, entry-level position. No previous manufacturing experience is required. The ideal candidate is positive, proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn while gaining hands-on exposure to manufacturing robotics.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Unload finished sheet metal parts from the conveyor and scan them to the appropriate location Load sheet metal parts, scan them to carts, and prepare carts for loading into robotic press brakes Enter the loaded list into the machine controller and verify that part numbers and quantities match Report all machine alarms and any equipment condition that does not appear to be functioning correctly Perform light daily cleaning of the work area and machine Follow all safety procedures and company policies Maintain an organized and safe work area Work collaboratively with team members and support production needs as assigned Build knowledge of manufacturing robotics and pursue additional learning opportunities in this growing field Perform other related duties as requested by management
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills Basic computer skills Ability to demonstrate good judgment and professionalism Ability to work effectively as part of a team Positive, proactive, and resourceful approach to work Willingness to learn and follow directions
EDUCATIONAL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
No previous manufacturing experience required Willingness to be trained in material handling, scanning processes, machine monitoring, and robotic press brake support
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regularly stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle or touch materials and equipment Frequently reach above the shoulders and climb or balance Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds No specific vision requirements for this position
