About the Role As a Robotics Systems Technician, you will play a vital role in bringing advanced automation technology to life by assembling, testing, and calibrating precision robotic systems. You will leverage your mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure every unit meets rigorous performance standards, directly impacting the productivity and efficiency of our clients' operations. Responsibilities Interpret complex blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical specifications to guide the precise assembly of robotic units. Utilize a variety of hand, power, and machine shop tools to fabricate and install components with high accuracy. Execute comprehensive functional testing and system runoff procedures to guarantee optimal operational performance. Operate overhead cranes and industrial trucks to safely maneuver heavy equipment throughout the assembly floor. Prepare finished systems for secure shipment, ensuring all components are protected and documented. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot assembly challenges and improve build processes. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or manufacturing assembly. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Strong shop math skills, including familiarity with the metric system. Experience operating standard machine shop equipment such as drill presses, saws, and grinders. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally handle heavier loads. Preferred Skills Technical certification in a related field. Demonstrated experience with electrical wiring and reading electrical schematics. Working knowledge of pneumatics and electronic control systems. Basic computer literacy for documentation and communication purposes.
