Through the end of 2026, with potential to continue into 2027 We are hiring experienced Low Voltage Site Survey Technicians for a large multi-site network refresh project. The initial focus will be onsite site surveys, estimating, and Bill of Materials (BOM) development . Strong performers may transition into Lead Technician roles during the installation phase. Responsibilities Perform detailed onsite surveys of existing buildings. Review floor plans, heatmaps, and project scope. Verify AP locations and determine practical Cat6A cable pathways . Locate and document MDFs, IDFs, network racks, AV equipment, ISP equipment, and other building systems. Identify ceiling types, attic access, difficult pathways, penetrations, and constructability issues. Estimate cable lengths, labor, and installation requirements. Mark up floor plans and take detailed site photos. Develop site-specific BOMs and labor estimates . Identify potential installation challenges and risks. Support installation of Cat6A cabling, cable supports, racks, patch panels, terminations, labeling, testing, and documentation . Requirements 3+ years of commercial low-voltage / structured cabling experience. Strong Cat6/Cat6A experience. Previous experience with site surveys, takeoffs, estimating, or BOM development . Ability to read floor plans and determine cable pathways. Understanding of MDF/IDF environments and network infrastructure. Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions. Lead Technician, Foreman, or Supervisor experience is a plus. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for technicians who understand how low-voltage projects are installed and can accurately assess site conditions before construction begins. Positions are needed ASAP.
Pay:
$29.08 - $35.02 per hour
