We are looking for a capable Survey Party Chief who can independently run a one-person survey crew using Leica robotic total stations and GPS equipment. If you enjoy solving field problems, organizing your work, and delivering accurate survey data, this role offers the independence to put those skills to work. Pay and benefits $25-$35 per hour. What you will do Independently complete assigned fieldwork as a one-person survey crew, from equipment setup through survey data handoff. Operate Leica robotic total stations and GPS equipment without a field assistant. Check measurements and maintain accurate, organized field notes and survey data. Identify field issues, solve practical problems, and communicate discrepancies and project progress to the project team. Care for survey instruments and follow safe work practices at outdoor and construction sites. Required qualifications Ability to independently run a one-person survey crew and complete assigned field surveys without a field assistant. Proficiency with robotic total stations and GPS survey equipment. Sound field judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to check your own work. Clear communication, reliable organization, and accurate field records. A valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work in person at outdoor and construction sites. A background check is required. Preferred qualifications Two or more years of practical field surveying experience. Experience with Leica survey equipment.
