Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Licensed Construction Survey Foreman to become a member of our field survey operations on active construction projects. This role is ideal for a detail‑driven professional who excels in submital of record drawings, as built design, layout, crew leadership, and ensuring accuracy across all phases of construction Duties Familiarity with data collection methods using GPS units such as Topcon, Trimble or Carlson systems. Knowledge of schematics design standards relevant to land surveying projects. Conduct land surveys using GPS, total stations, 3D scanners, and other advanced surveying equipment to gather accurate spatial data. Prepare detailed survey reports, schematics, and maps utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, Carlson, and ArcGIS software. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to analyze spatial data and create comprehensive geographic models. Interpret civil plans, blueprints, and and digital modeling to determine project requirements. Implement construction staking and layout for projects to ensure precise layout for utilities, structures, grading and roadwork projects. Conduct and complete topographic, boundary, and as built survey and reports. Operate and maintain field survey equipment to include robotic total stations, GPS, GNSS, and laser. Manage survey project documentation in compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, company representatives, and clients to interpret survey requirements and deliver efficient and timely requirements. Extensive knowledge of land surveying principles including GPS technology, Schematics, ALTA surveys, and construction layout. Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, Carlson, and ArcGIS for drafting and mapping tasks. Strong understanding of GIS applications for spatial analysis and data visualization. Solid grasp of civil engineering concepts related to land development and infrastructure projects. Lead survey crews in the field, ensuring safety protocols are followed while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Train and mentor junior survey staff.
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
