With approximately 75 employees , a strong backlog of work, and 5+ field crews currently in operation , this firm has built a reputation for delivering high-quality surveying services while maintaining a culture that genuinely values work-life balance. The Project Surveyor will be responsible for: Managing multiple surveying projects from kickoff through final deliverables while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations. Coordinating with field crews, CAD technicians, engineers, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project execution. Reviewing and preparing boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, construction staking, and as-built surveys. Providing technical oversight and quality assurance on plats, legal descriptions, control networks, and mapping deliverables. Utilizing modern survey technologies including LiDAR, drone-based aerial mapping, GPS/GNSS systems, Civil 3D, and Carlson to support project accuracy and efficiency. Mentoring junior staff and helping develop best practices across both field and office operations. Serving as a trusted client contact while building long-term relationships and identifying opportunities for future projects. The Project Surveyor should have the following qualifications: Professional Land Surveyor (PLS/RLS) license in Georgia or the ability to obtain Georgia licensure through reciprocity. 5+ years of progressive surveying experience with project management responsibilities. Strong knowledge of boundary, topographic, construction, and land development surveying practices. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson Survey , and modern survey data processing workflows. Familiarity with LiDAR, UAV/drone operations, GPS/GNSS technologies, and emerging geospatial tools. Proven ability to lead projects, coordinate teams, and effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
