Uncover projects that ignite your passion. Land Surveying - Fehr Graham Your Primary Responsibilities will include: As the Professional Land Surveyor Manager, you will provide leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction for the firm's surveying practice.
Primary responsibilities include:
Lead and develop a team of Professional Land Surveyors and survey staff across multiple office locations. Oversee project execution, workload management, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for survey projects, deliverables, and regulatory compliance. Establish and maintain surveying standards, procedures, and best practices across the organization. Mentor and support the professional development of survey personnel while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture. Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives. Partner with company leadership to drive operational excellence, pursue growth opportunities, and expand surveying services. Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, and client feedback to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Required:
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Illinois. Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. 10+ years of progressive land surveying experience, including leadership or management responsibilities. Experience overseeing multiple projects, teams, and priorities in a consulting environment.
