Land Surveyor Cerrato Land Surveying Medford, MA Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $95,000 a year 17 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Outdoor work experience Driver's License Attention to detail Total stations GPS receivers Full Job Description Job Summary Land Surveyor needed (minimum 3 years of experience) for drafting and field work in Boston metro area. SIT preferred but not required. Experience with robotic surveying equipment and Land Desktop/Civil 3D software preferred. Must be self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to work independently and remotely. Flexible hours. Informal work environment. 2-4 Weeks Paid Time Off Part Time or Full Time Valid Driver's License Responsibilities Conduct field surveys using GPS and robotic total stations. Perform boundary surveys for plot plans, existing conditions plans, and boundary stakeouts Ability to read and interpret utility plans Ability to work Independently Proficient with Land Desktop/Civil 3d GPS and robotic experience preferred but will train SIT a plus Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD Land Desktop/Civil 3D. Strong knowledge of land surveying principles including boundary determination, topographic mapping, GPS surveying, and construction surveys. Experience with Robotic Total Station and GPS Ability to interpret legal descriptions accurately for boundary delineation and land development projects. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail in data collection and drafting processes.
