Location and travel:

Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with local work throughout DFW and travel to other Texas project locations approximately 50% of the time. Travel destinations may include up to 3 hours away, depending on project needs. Per diem will be paid for overnight travel. We're willing to pay well for the right person—someone who can lead a crew, deliver accurate work, and bring solid experience with utility locating and work within roadway rights-of-way. What you'll do Lead daily survey crew activities and coordinate field assignments. Perform survey fieldwork throughout the DFW area and on travel assignments. Apply your knowledge of utility locating to project work. Work safely within roadway rights-of-way and around active traffic. Maintain accurate field notes and communicate progress, site conditions, and issues to the project team. Help ensure fieldwork meets project requirements and quality expectations. What we're looking for Previous experience as a Survey Party Chief leading a field crew. Familiarity with locating utilities and working within roadway rights-of-way. Strong attention to accuracy, safety, and field documentation. Ability to communicate clearly, solve field problems, and work independently. Residence in the DFW area and availability for local field assignments. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
