SETCO provides electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting services for utilities, industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, data centers, healthcare facilities, and other critical-power customers. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience working with medium

  • and high-voltage electrical equipment who takes pride in doing quality work, troubleshooting problems, and taking care of the customer. What You'll Be Doing Responsibilities may include: NETA Acceptance and Maintenance Testing Testing and commissioning medium
  • and high-voltage electrical equipment Testing transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, cables, CTs, PTs, and protective relays Performing insulation resistance, power factor, turns ratio, winding resistance, contact resistance, and other electrical tests Primary and secondary current injection testing Protective relay testing and functional checkout MV cable testing including VLF and tan delta Substation startup and commissioning Troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems Performing preventative maintenance and outage work Reviewing drawings, one-lines, schematics, and equipment documentation Completing accurate field test reports and documentation Working directly with customers, engineers, contractors, and other technicians in the field What We're Looking For Experience in electrical testing, commissioning, substations, industrial electrical maintenance, or a related field NETA Level II, III, or IV certification is preferred but not required for the right candidate•NETA III and IV can expect higher pay bands.

Experience with medium-voltage equipment strongly preferred Ability to read electrical one-lines, schematics, and wiring diagrams Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a field team Willingness to travel for projects and customer outages Ability to work overtime, weekends, and extended shifts when required for outage work Valid driver's license and good driving record Commitment to working safely and producing high-quality work Experience We're Interested In We encourage you to apply if your background includes electrical testing, substation work, commissioning, protective relaying, industrial electrical maintenance, switchgear, transformers, medium-voltage cables, or high-voltage equipment.
