Test Technician III (Temp-To-Perm)
Location:
Lowell, MA Pay Rate:
$33•35/hr
Hours:
M•F 7:00am•3:30pm Electronics experience(Important) RF experience Use of Bird meters/ multimeters (Important) Use of programable power supplies (Important) Trouble shooting experience Circuit board experience(DSP boards)
Essential Job Duties:
Perform various duties to test, troubleshoot and repair any electromechanical product Load software; set-up Ethernet communications Troubleshoot down to assembly and component level Use multi-meters and leak detectors Communicate with suppliers (Tech Support) Interface with Engineering/Quality Collect and interpret test data; perform root cause analysis on failed unit Record and interpret test data May fabricate test fixtures May train lower level test technicians Mark-up/Red-Line test documentation Perform mechanical testing on prototype, existing, or new products to verify they meet safety and design specifications Work from specifications, technical manuals, schematics and written/verbal instruction Conduct, monitor all Design Verification Testing Take initiative to identify problems and recommend solutions Operate, inspect and test lab electro/mechanical equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other testing devices Maintain and ensure all measurement, inspection and test lab equipment is calibrated according to schedule
Educational and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma; technical training Associates degree preferred 5+ years of semi-conductor experience Vacuum System experience, Swagelok fittings experience

MS Office Physical Requirements:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Sit Use hands to type, finger, handle, or feel Talk and hear Stand, walk and reach with hands and arms Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; anything over that requires a two-person lift, or other lifting equipment Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusting focus

Manufacturing Environment May work in clean room Identifiable job hazards: May work in or around a welding area; Weld arc will be present May work with or around machine shop tools, compressed gases, mechanical robotic equipment, Acetone, IPA Exposure to manual and electronic tools and test equipment Occasional high noise levels

Wear rubber gloves when handling chemicals
