Position Overview We are looking for a hands-on technician who enjoys building, testing, troubleshooting, and improving equipment. Working closely with Engineering, you will work to turn ideas into safe, repeatable test and repair solutions for aviation components. Experience in aviation is helpful but not required; backgrounds in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, automation, electronics, mechatronics, military technical work, labs, or prototype shops may also be a strong fit. Key Responsibilities

• Build, modify, and troubleshoot test equipment, fixtures, wiring, tubing, adapters, and prototypes.
• Set up and run mechanical, electrical, pressure, flow, load, endurance, and functional tests.
• Use common shop tools, electrical test equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Read drawings, schematics, manuals, and test instructions, and help turn engineering concepts into practical solutions.
• Document setups, measurements, observations, photographs, and results clearly. Required Qualifications
• Three or more years of hands-on technical experience in a shop, laboratory, maintenance, manufacturing, repair, test, or similar environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and practical electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience building, repairing, modifying, or testing equipment, components, fixtures, wiring, or assemblies.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, manuals, or procedures and document work accurately.
• Commitment to safe work practices, careful problem-solving, and teamwork.
• High school diploma or equivalent; comparable training and experience are welcome. Helpful, Not Required
• Technical education, certification, military training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in aviation, electronics, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, automation, machining, instrumentation, or a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with fabrication, soldering, crimping, data acquisition, test procedures, or equipment maintenance.
