Hoyle Tanner has an opening for an Entry Level Highway Engineer in our Ground Transportation Division. This position is based out of our Manchester, NH office. You will:

Design and preparation of calculations, plans and specification for State and Municipal Highway projects Complete assignments with direction from the Project Engineer or Project Manager Work as part of an integrated, multi-discipline team to solve technical challenges Use software and other tools to develop designs and organize work Gather, research and maintain engineering records including tests, drawings and field data May attend inspections, site visits and meetings with clients and contractors for highway projects under construction May be responsible for construction observation and limited administration Read and understand technical drawings and specifications Demonstrate strong writing and communication skills Increase knowledge through continuous learning within and outside the organization including pursuit of an advanced engineering degree and/or certification

Requirements:

BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred) EIT/EI preferred, or ability to obtain 0-2 years of relevant experience Salary is contingent on experience Hoyle Tanner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
