Our core values are the foundation that make us successful for ourselves, our customers and the planet. Albemarle is hiring for a Brinefield Reliability Engineer . This position is located in Magnolia, AR, on-site/in-office. The core work for this role involves serving as key technical resource for the area with focus on managing the field ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) systems. This includes managing all aspects of our ESP reliability, including coordinating the logistics of pulling and replacing the ESPs by interfacing with the various required vendors, ensuring quality of onsite work by all associated personnel, failure analysis, and improvement efforts. This role also helps manage and ensure policy compliance with PSM responsibilities of the field including MOCs, Incident Reporting, P&IDs, procedures, and PHAs. Serving as backup to the area superintendent could be required as well. What You Will Do Actively support the company's safety, environmental, and quality programs to ensure compliance and continuous improvement ESP systems management including replacement, failure analysis, and improvement Provide technical support towards resolution of mechanical failures and process upsets Monitor technical performance of production facilities and resolve issues as they arise. Foster strong cooperation between TR, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations personnel Serve as a liaison between Brinefield and capital projects team including cost estimates and project execution assistance Ensure compliance of Arkansas Oil & Gas commission regulations Provide backup/support to brine well workovers
What You Bring Required:
B.S. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or applicable discipline 8 + years of experience in manufacturing/production facility (Chemical or Oil/Gas Industry desirable) Working understanding of
OSHA, EPA
regulations, and Oil & Gas regulations Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including mechanical root cause failure analysis Good time management, organizational skills, problem solving, project management and decision-making skills Excellent communications skills, both written and oral Must be self-driven It'd be great if you also have: Mechanical RCFA experience Working knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems ESP production experience Well drilling experience Benefits of joining Albemarle Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.
