Entry Quality Assistant People First Employment Claremont, CA Job Details Full-time From $17.50 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Analysis skills Attention to detail Federal Aviation Regulations Analytical thinking AS9100 Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Quality Assistant to join our dynamic manufacturing team to support our aerospace quality operations. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring that aerospace components, systems, and software meet stringent industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality benchmarks. You will work closely with quality, engineering, production, and sales teams to help maintain product integrity, safety, and reliability throughout the development and production lifecycle.
Shifts:
6:00AM - 2:30PM Monday - Friday Pay rate: $17.50 Key Respnsiblitiles- Respond to technical surveys regarding ROHs, REACH, PFAS, CMRT, etc.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to review specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Participate in internal audits, supplier evaluations, and quality reviews.
- Support compliance efforts with applicable aerospace standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100, FAA, EASA, or equivalent).
- Assist in validating process changes and ensuring configuration control compliance. Experience
- 1+ years of experience in quality assurance, manufacturing quality, or aerospace-related quality systems.
- Basic understanding of aerospace quality standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with inspection tools, documentation control systems, and quality management systems (QMS).
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional technical teams. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working under AS9100 or similar aerospace quality systems.
- Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI) and production part approval processes.
- Experience with ERP or manufacturing execution systems.
