Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance and control processes in accordance with aviation industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes and materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, processing and inspection teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify risks and opportunities for improvement across aerospace projects.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality documentation including reports, procedures and compliance records.
- Ensure suppliers and subcontractors comply with company quality standards and regulatory guidelines through internal evaluations and audits.
- Support verification and validation activities for aerospace components and systems to meet safety and performance criteria.
- Stay updated with changes in aviation regulations and quality standards to ensure continual compliance. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within the Aviation & Aerospace industry.
- Experience leading NADCAP audits.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation quality standards such as AS9100 and FAA regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quality tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with auditing standards and conducting supplier quality management assessments.
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory documents.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
