Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Process Quality Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with opportunities available in Jefferson, GA and Gainesville, GA. This role is ideal for a quality-focused professional who thrives on solving manufacturing and product quality challenges, driving continuous improvement, and utilizing data to improve processes and prevent defects. As a key partner to Engineering, Production, and Quality teams, you will facilitate root cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and help resolve manufacturing and field-related quality concerns. You will play a critical role in analyzing quality trends, supporting containment activities, assessing risk, and ensuring products meet quality standards while improving overall manufacturing performance.

Field Quality Leadership & Risk Management Interface with sales companies and dealer networks to quickly identify and communicate field issues to manufacturing and R D contacts.
Lead the review of risks associated with product defects discovered in the field to determine appropriate action for suspected units in the market.
Initiate and assist with containment activities internally and externally to establish product clean points and ensure shipment of certified product to customers.
Draft technical bulletins for improvement or corrections to field units. Data Analysis & Failure Investigation Analyze warranty data to detect trends and changing points.
Review returned warranty parts to determine failure mode, including disassembly and inspection as required. Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement Host problem-solving sessions with cross-functional teams to determine root cause and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
Work with related departments to propose and execute corrective actions for market warranty claims.
New Product Introduction (NPI) & Preventive Quality
Work collaboratively with Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering during new product introduction to prevent quality issues using APQP tools.
Apply PFMEA, Control Plans, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to develop error-proof processes that build quality. Technical Leadership & Cross-Functional Support Provide technical guidance and direction to quality control, manufacturing, and other departments as required. Minimum Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills
Strong communications skills
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little, to no, oversight Preferred Qualifications Experience in design engineering or production/manufacturing engineering/agricultural mechanization
Previous manufacturing experience
Experience with problem solving tools, such as 5-why, Ishikawa/fishbone diagrams, 8D
Six Sigma experience
APQP experience
Previous knowledge of tractors or other heavy machinery Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or previous experience in a Quality Engineering role In lieu of a degree, we consider equivalent, job-related experience, military service, professional certifications, and demonstrated skills.
