Quality Engineer - 6am-2pm - Schaumburg, IL Zing Recruiting has partnered with a 100 year old metal manufacturing company who works with a variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, energy, agriculture and more!! Candidate should have PPAP and

ISO 9001

experience. Pay range is 75k-90k depending on experience.

Qualifications include:

Engineering Degree 3+ years experience within metals.

PPAP, ISO

9001 and

IATF 16949

standards. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T Responsibilities include: Perform dimensional and visual inspections on metal components using precision measuring tools Prepare and submit complete PPAP packages (Levels 1-5) in accordance with customer and industry requirements. Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined and fabricated metal parts. Maintain and update quality documentation including control plans, FMEAs, and process flow diagrams. Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, customer audits). Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures. Monitor and report on quality metrics and trends. Zing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
