Job Summary:

Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and customers to improve product quality and manufacturing processes. This role will use quality engineering tools, data analysis, auditing, and structured problem-solving methods to resolve quality issues, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement.

Job Duties:

Partner with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to identify and resolve product and process quality issuesLead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions related to customer concerns, audit findings, and manufacturing issuesDevelop and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, process flows, inspection methods, testing requirements, procedures, and other quality documentationAnalyze quality and manufacturing data using SPC, process capability studies, Pareto analysis, control charts, and other statistical toolsSupport APQP, PPAP, MSA, Gauge R&R, process validation, and equipment/process qualification activitiesConduct internal process and quality system audits and support customer and third-party auditsSupport new product launches and manufacturing process changes to ensure quality requirements are incorporatedWork with Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance to improve process capability, reliability, and overall manufacturing performanceLead or participate in continuous improvement, Lean, and Kaizen initiativesMaintain quality records and communicate with customers regarding quality concerns and corrective actions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical fieldQuality engineering or manufacturing quality experience within an industrial manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and process controlsWorking knowledge of AIAG Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA/FMEA, MSA, and SPCExperience with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC, and Pareto analysisExperience with statistical analysis, process capability, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
