Our client, an industrial manufacturing environment, is seeking a Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting reliability and maintenance improvement efforts across equipment systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with predictive and condition-based maintenance, strong analytical skills for root cause and risk analysis, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement.

Hammond, IN What's the Job? Determine the most effective maintenance practices for specific equipment or equipment types to minimize failures and extend equipment longevity. Use Pareto Charts to identify and analyze equipment failures, prioritizing maintenance functions and equipment improvements. Apply failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and risk analysis techniques to develop cost-effective maintenance strategies for system components. Monitor equipment performance and evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance strategies; upgrade preventive and predictive programs based on performance data. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and develop strategies to prevent recurrence. What's Needed? Hands-on experience with Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) programs. Experience using and interpreting vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, and oil/lubricant analysis. Knowledge of precision maintenance practices, including laser shaft alignment, soft-foot correction, belt/sheave alignment, bearing installation, torque practices, and precision measurement tools. Strong lubrication excellence knowledge, including lubricant selection, contamination control, proper storage/handling, lubrication intervals, and oil sampling. Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA, asset criticality, PM optimization, and defect elimination. What's in it for me?
