Mojave, CA Job Summary :

Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and customers to improve product quality and manufacturing processes. This role will use quality engineering tools, data analysis, auditing, and structured problem-solving methods to resolve quality issues, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement.

Job Duties :

Partner with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to identify and resolve product and process quality issues Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions related to customer concerns, audit findings, and manufacturing issues Develop and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, process flows, inspection methods, testing requirements, procedures, and other quality documentation Analyze quality and manufacturing data using SPC, process capability studies, Pareto analysis, control charts, and other statistical tools Support APQP, PPAP, MSA, Gauge R&R, process validation, and equipment/process qualification activities Conduct internal process and quality system audits and support customer and third-party audits Support new product launches and manufacturing process changes to ensure quality requirements are incorporated Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance to improve process capability, reliability, and overall manufacturing performance Lead or participate in continuous improvement, Lean, and Kaizen initiatives Maintain quality records and communicate with customers regarding quality concerns and corrective actions

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field Quality engineering or manufacturing quality experience within an industrial manufacturing environment Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and process controls Working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA/FMEA, MSA, and SPC Experience with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC, and Pareto analysis Experience with statistical analysis, process capability, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
