location:
Aquasco, Maryland job type: Permanent salary: $145,000 - 175,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Monitor combustion turbines, steam turbines, and HRSGs to analyze efficiency, heat rate, and operating trends for maximum profitability.

Investigate equipment failures and forced outages by performing root cause analyses and implementing effective corrective actions.

Conduct predictive maintenance and condition monitoring using vibration analysis, thermography, and oil testing to ensure optimal equipment health.

Maintain and optimize instrumentation, measurement, switchgear, protective relays, PLCs, and DCS systems across plant operations.

Partner with Operations and Maintenance teams to manage capital projects, equipment upgrades, and engineering solutions that enhance reliability.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, with a p reference for Electrical Engineering (Mechanical, Power Generation, or related fields considered). Demonstrated engineering experience supporting power plant operations, maintenance, or reliability in a utility or heavy industrial environment. Proven expertise in monitoring plant performance, investigating equipment failures, and performing root cause analyses to improve facility availability.
