Help drive the reactive and predictive maintenance program and be part of multiple continuous improvement upgrades at the facility. Great company, stability and high visibility role. Monitor and analyze combined-cycle power plant performance, including combustion turbines, steam turbines, and Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs), identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, heat rate, reliability, and generation output. Investigate equipment failures, forced outages, generation losses, and abnormal operating conditions; perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve plant availability. Perform equipment condition assessments using predictive maintenance technologies, including vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and other diagnostic techniques to identify potential equipment issues and reduce unplanned outages. Provide engineering support for electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), protective relays, transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and motor control centers (MCCs). Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, optimize plant operating practices, and develop engineering solutions that improve equipment performance, reliability, safety, and maintainability. Lead and support engineering studies, equipment upgrades, capital improvement projects, and contractor activities from initial planning and technical evaluation through implementation and project completion. Analyze plant operating data and performance trends using monitoring and reporting systems, including OSIsoft PI and CEMS/Data Acquisition and Handling Systems (DAHS), to identify performance deviations and support data-driven decisions. Maintain engineering documentation, technical reports, plant drawings, and equipment configuration records while ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations, NERC reliability standards, company procedures, and industrial safety requirements. #ENG1
