Job Description

Quality Liaison Position Summary The Quality Liaison serves as a key connection between the Quality Department, Production, and customers. This position supports the communication, investigation, and resolution of quality issues while helping ensure that products and processes meet customer and company requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and comfortable working directly with production employees, supervisors, quality personnel, and customers. The Quality Liaison must be able to identify problems, communicate clearly, follow through on corrective actions, and help prevent recurring quality issues. Essential Responsibilities Serve as a communication link between Quality, Production, and customers regarding quality-related concerns. Review and communicate customer quality requirements to appropriate company personnel. Assist with investigating customer complaints, internal nonconformances, and production quality issues. Help identify root causes and support corrective and preventive actions. Track quality issues through completion and verify that corrective actions are effective. Communicate quality concerns promptly to Production Supervisors and Management. Support containment activities when nonconforming product is identified. Assist with reviewing inspection results, quality records, and production documentation. Help ensure employees understand and follow customer-specific quality requirements. Monitor recurring quality issues and identify opportunities for improvement. Assist with customer returns, sorting activities, rework, and quality-related communications. Support preparation of customer corrective action responses, as required. Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and
ISO 9001
activities. Maintain accurate records of quality issues, corrective actions, and follow-up activities. Work closely with production employees to help prevent quality problems before product is shipped. Support training related to quality requirements, inspection methods, and customer expectations. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, quality, inspection, or production. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to investigate problems and identify potential causes. Ability to read and understand work instructions, specifications, and customer requirements. Basic computer skills. Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple issues and priorities at the same time. Preferred Qualifications Experience in metal finishing, plating, coating, or a similar manufacturing environment. Experience with
ISO 9001
quality systems. Experience with customer complaints and corrective actions. Familiarity with 8D, 5-Why, fishbone diagrams, or other root-cause analysis methods. Experience with internal or customer audits.

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
