PAY RATE IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF QUALITY ENGINEERING
Quality Engineer must possess the ability to perform the following :
Posses knowledge of aerospace and defense manufacturing.
Able to work well with all facets of the operation including: manufacturing, engineering and the customer as needed.
Prepare quality documents for manufacturing per customer specifications and requirements.
Developing Quality plans including: bubbled drawings, AS9102 forms, First Article, Final Inspection reports.
Work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously with strong organizational, analytical skills.
Assists with quality assurance plans by identifying critical control points and preventative measures, establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures and corrective and preventive actions.
Determine correct inspection method and measuring equipment to be used per part requirement.
Interpret travelers, engineering specs, drawings, blueprints and a working knowledge of GD&T.
Possess an understanding of
ISO 9001
2000, AS9100 requirements.
Use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Mini-tab, SPC Software (such as QC Calc), Foxit or Adobe PDF, and Inspection Expert software.
Create and maintain documentation for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
Review data from completed jobs to make the determination if current quality processes are successful.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that can be used for training.
Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting and analyzing data and trends on failed processes, stability studies, product life cycles and corrective and preventive actions.
Comprehends material(s), and process specifications.
Comprehends customer P.O. requirements, review, identify and apply to manufacturing processes.
Keep supervisor informed as needed and required.
Understand and adhere to Alliance Machine's Core Values.
Keeps assigned work area clean and organized to company standards.
Does work as apparent or assigned.
